exactly the reasons I hated winter in the midwest.  From october-april i was just this ball of angry crabby sadness that hated everything.  My brain isn’t built for that climate.  And even though it still gets dark earlier and earlier here, the warm temperatures let me spend more time out in what little daylight there is, which makes ALL the difference.
