-rosasparks-: pullmyfoamfinger: If you’re stupid enough to read this tumblr regularly then you know that The Birdcage is one of my top 5 favorite films.  I could watch it back to back, over and over again, without ever tiring of it.  Side note:  So can Paul Thomas Anderson. Every time I watch this movie I spend about five minutes lamenting the fact that Hank Azaria was overlooked for any awards for his performance.  Agador just makes this movie.  He was nominated for a SAG award but that’s it.  And why is it that mostly serious performances get nominated?  Marisa Tomei nailed it in My Cousin Vinny (another favorite) and she won the Oscar but that seems to be the exception rather than the rule.   All of the above. Agador is hands down my favorite part of this whole movie
